Mu Yifan didn't sleep very deeply. In between dreams and waking, he felt someone lift open his clothes, lightly stroking his swollen abdomen.The other person’s palm seemed like it was imbued with some kind of power, combined with the gentle movements, it made the area around his stomach feel very comfortable.

However, the other party quickly retracted his hand and the coziness immediately left with it. The more Mu Yifan slept, the more troubled his sleep became. Suddenly, he opened his eyes only to be met with the sight of his bedroom ceiling.

His gaze swept the room, and he wondered when he had returned to it. He thought that maybe Zhan Beitian had carried him up, but Mu Yifan didn't mind. Grabbing his phone and looking at it, it was already one in the morning.

Mu Yifan put down his phone, turned over, and went back to bed.

However, he couldn't sleep. Even though his eyes couldn’t get any more tired, to the degree that he simply couldn’t open them, he still felt that his protruding stomach was a little uncomfortable, making him very irritable.

Mu Yifan tossed and turned for the better part of half an hour. In the end, he decided to take a walk downstairs.

When Mu Yifan had barely walked out of the room, he was attracted by some force which made him feel comfortable from head to toe. Thus, he immediately laid down on the ground and slept.

At 5:30 the next morning, when Zhan Beitian, who was used to getting up early,  opened the door of his room, he saw a person lying outside.

When Zhan Beitian saw that the person on the ground was Mu Yifan, panic flashed through his eyes and he quickly kneeled down to shake Mu Yifan. "Mr. Mu? Mr. Mu? Mu Mu? Mu Mu?"

In the midst of a dream, Mu Yifan heard someone calling him. He dazedly opened his eyes, saw a handsome face, and yawned. "Beitian, morning. Are we eating breakfast?"

"..." Zhan Beitian saw that there was nothing wrong with him. He was slightly relieved and asked sternly, "Why are you sleeping at the door of my room?"

Mu Yifan vacantly shook his head. "I don't know either. Last night I couldn't sleep and I wanted to walk around; then I got to your door. I thought it made me comfortable, so I just laid down here..."

"..." Zhan Beitian glanced at Mu Yifan’s stomach then supported him up. "Right now it’s not even six o’clock yet; go back and sleep again. I’ll call you up later for breakfast."

"Oh." Mu Yifan rubbed at his eyes and obediently went back to sleep in his room, but he still couldn't sleep. Without any better option, he went to watch TV in the lounge.

It was eight o'clock when Zhan Beitian returned with bags of breakfast. Mu Yifan immediately got up and went to help him. "Beitian, I’m taking a trip back to my dad’s place today. I’ll probably only come back tonight or tomorrow morning."

"I’ll take you there."

Mu Yifan hurriedly refused, "No need, I’ll drive there myself."

Going back to see his family would of course require him remove the gauze on the face, so how could he let the male protagonist send him back?

Zhan Beitian brows scrunched up. "You can't drive."

"Then I can take a taxi."

Since Mu Yifan had said it like this, Zhan Beitian didn’t say any more.
